We had our first experience at this restaurant at Sunday lunch. The food was very good! There are a lot of items on this buffet that are not available at other Chinese buffets. If you don't like Chinese food there are a lot of options such as roast beef, macaroni and cheese, pizza, french fries and so forth. The food was well prepared and tasty! Some delightful smells reminded me of being in Southeast Asia!

This is a neighborhood aisian buffet that makes me rethink all my past reviews of similar buffets. This is what a 5 star is for $14 lunch. The place crowded because the quality and value is above average. Everything seemed clean including the bathroom. There is a raw and cooked sushi with seriously wide range of types. All the hot and cold selections of food seemed pretty fresh recognizing much was probably frozen, but the steamed trays were replenished swiftly. We will certainly return. Thank you!

2nd Time @ Mikata's Restaurant and they didn't disappoint. The buffet choices are extensive and tasty delicious. The Hibachi Grill is equally impressive with both proteins of Shellfish Seafoods and Meats. Eeeeh... the Prey and the Preyed are GREAT abs there's something for EVERY Eater! If you’re a vegan, vegetarian and just a foodie of it all your palate want be left unexciting. The corn on the cob Y'all! Sweet Lord is good and buttery. And it's an awful darn shame to the admitted phat backs that it's literally coupled next to its companion "cholesterol sen" Lol ... that other #FAT BACK call Brother "BUTTER" and it's "Hot 'n' Ready" Oooooh My Gosh Darn #LipidLevels ... Then the Raw Oysters on the half for us avid oyster eaters #NO-MATTER-SERVED ... One of my favorite buffet spots in Jacksonville! They offer a wide variety of dishes with plenty of seafood options that are perfect for the Lent season. The crawfish are huge and definitely a highlight. The hibachi station is also really good with lots of sauces to choose from so you can customize your meal just the way you like it.

Great service, drinks get refilled quickly, empty plates get taken away before you come back to your table with a full one. Food is on par with your typical Asian style buffet except they offer freshly cooked shrimp, crab legs, sushi, sashimi and more. Beware the wildebeests grunting & pushing you out of the way when the crab tray gets refilled while they stack their plates with the entire tray. Typical for a place that has a 2 hour time limit for such types. That said, will be back again.
